Farzaneh Kaboli

Farzaneh Kaboli ( born 1949 in Tehran ) is an Iranian dancer, choreographer and actress.

Life

Farzaneh Kaboli was born in 1949 in Tehran. Her parents were musicians and her uncle was a theater pioneer and lecturer at the drama school in Tehran. After a ballet training in the Iranian Academy of Ballet, she moved from 1971 to 1979 as a solo dancer and director of the Iranian folkloric dance group in Tehran on. She studied with Hayedeh Ahmadzadeh ( Prima Ballerina in Iran) and Robert de Warren and his wife Jacqueline in the Academy of National Folklore in Tehran. After various engagements as soloist and director, she has been choreographed many dances, she dances themselves respectively. Because of their dance activities she was imprisoned twice after the 1979 revolution. For over 30 years she played in many TV series and movies.
