Fat Joe
Fat Joe ( born August 19, 1970 as Joseph Antonio Cartagena ) is an American rapper. Raised in the Bronx rapper Puerto Rican descent had several hits as a solo artist and worked with, among others, Jennifer Lopez, R. Kelly, Ashanti, Ricky Martin and Ginuwine later. Joe is a founding member of the rap group The Terror Squad. Its name is derived from his first name Joseph, and a reference to his obesity.
Career
Fat Joe became known in the early 1990s in the underground rap scene in New York City. After his former partner Big Punisher had achieved initial success in the mainstream, and Fat Joe began to switch his productions and to make for the masses. He published a total of eight solo albums, on which the two hit singles We Thuggin ' and What's Luv published. He produced an album together with his crew The Terror Squad. His sixth album, All or Nothing was released in spring 2005. His play My FoFo he replied to 50 Cent's attack in the song Piggy Bank. Since the autumn of 2006 he hosted along with Lil Jon the show Pimp My Ride International. Fat Joe also runs a fashion label named 560 FJ meantime succeeded Fat Joe his body weight of 350 lbs ( 157.5 kg ) to 262 lbs (118 kg) to reduce. It was followed by the video for his song decoupling "Drop A Body " in June 2011, when his weight reduction of the public was visible. He then joined for the first time with the stage name " Slim Joe" in appearance.
