FATF blacklist

NCCT is the abbreviation for non- cooperative countries and territories, and designated countries that have been recorded by the FATF in the list of countries whose money laundering prevention measures do not meet international standards.

This blacklist is public and means a "name and shame" policy.

Essential, however, that the banks of OECD member states are obliged to and separately to monitor transactions with these countries transactions.

Applies in the European Union since January 2007, this Regulation ( EC) No 1781 /2006 ( Money Transfer Regulation ). These sanctions are in Austria in § 78 para 8 and 9 Austrian Banking Act (BWG) regulated.

In the first report of the FATF following States were placed on the list of non - cooperative countries and territories, in October 2000.

The last report of 25 February 2009, the following countries were listed:
