Fatherland for All

Patria Para Todos (PPT; German homeland for all ) is a left-wing political party in Venezuela, which was founded in 1997. The majority of its members are former trade unionist.

The PPT was created when the strongest supporters of the La Causa Radical Caracazos of breaking away. Immediately after the foundation, she joined Hugo Chavez and formed with the MVR and other smaller parties the Polo Patriótico ( German Patriotic Pole ).

In 2000, she stepped out of the coalition, however, again, because there was no agreement in the selection of candidates for the elections ( both the President and the mayors and governors ). The best-known member of the party was Alí Rodríguez Araque, who was also president of OPEC, but moved to the PSUV in 2007.
