Fatmir Vata

Fatmir Vata ( born September 19, 1971 in Rrëshen ) is an Albanian football player.

Career

The attacking midfielder Vata began his football career at NK Samobor in Croatia, then played from 1995 NK Slaven Koprivnica Belupo and from 1997 at the NK Vukovar '91. During the 1999/2000 season, he joined the German second division club SV Waldhof Mannheim before he finally came to Bielefeld 2001. For the season 2002/ 03 he went with the DSC on in the football league, but could not avoid relegation. 2004 was followed by the immediate re- ascent.

Vata is the Albanian Footballer of the Year in 2004, but no longer plays in the Albanian national team due to personal differences with Hans -Peter Briegel. Vata bribed with Arminia Bielefeld by his fighting spirit and his willingness to run. On August 27, the third division Wuppertal SV Borussia announced the signing of Albanian known. Private

Fatmir Vata is married and has two sons. He lives with his family in Bielefeld. Due to a historic victory against the national team of Turkey got Vata, like all his teammates a legally valid diplomatic passport.
