Fatoto ( spelling variant: Fattoto ) is a village in the West African nation of Gambia.

According to a calculation for 2013 there live about 1632 inhabitants, the result of the last published census in 1993 was 1317.

Geography

Fatoto at 16 m height, located in the Upper River Region ( URR ), Kantora district and is about five kilometers southeast of Garowol away. Basse Santa Su, the headquarters of the administrative unit URR, is 36 kilometers away. On the road Fatoto is 436 km away from the country's capital Banjul. In the immediate vicinity, in the direction Garowol, is the Kusum Forest Park.

The River Gambia has here, dug deep into it at its headwaters in the sandstone plateau, which allows up to twelve meters high steep banks have emerged.
