Fatou Tiyana

Fatou Tiyana (born 24 February 1987 in Banjul) is a Gambian athlete. It starts the 100m and 200m. At the beginning of her career, she also took part in competitions in the long jump, for which she holds the national record since 2005.

Tiyana won the gold medal in the long jump at the Solidarity Athletics Championships 2005 in Mauritania. In 2006 she won at the ZANOCA Games in Mali gold in the long jump and silver in the 100 - and 200 -meter run. The Solidarity Athletics Championships 2007 in Guinea- Bissau, she won the 100 and 200 meters and in the 4 x 100 - meter relay gold medal each.
