Faulkner County, Arkansas

The Faulkner County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arkansas. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Conway. The county is one of the Dry counties, which means that the sale of alcohol is restricted or prohibited. The Faulkner County is part of the metropolitan Little Rock.

History

The Faulkner County was formed on April 12, 1873 from parts of Conway County and Pulaski County. It was named after Colonel Sanford C. Faulkner, an officer Fidel player and narrator of short stories.
