Fazl Mosque, London

The Fazl Mosque ( Urdu مسجد فضل, DMG Masǧid Fadl Mosque of Bountiful / virtuous ') is the first mosque of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in England. The English Ahmadiyya community was founded in London in 1913 by Pakistani Ahmadiyya missionaries. The foundation of the mosque was laid in 1924 by the second Khilafat ul- Massih Mirza Bashir ud- Din Mahmud Ahmad, the inauguration took place on 23 October 1926. They was funded by Ahmadifrauen in India, for the construction of this mosque their gold and possessions sold. It is located in the London Borough of Wandsworth.

Since April 1984, the mosque is the seat of the head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat International, the Khilafat ul- Massih. Until 26 September 2003 also the Friday prayer during the Caliphate ul- Massih took place, but due to lack of space it has been held since October 3, 2003 in the newly built Mosque Bait ul- Futuh place that can accommodate up to 4500 worshipers.
