FC Ajka

The FC Ajka is a Hungarian football club, (founded in 1923) in the summer of 2001 through the spin-off from the rest of the club Ajka SE has emerged. The club was for many years mainly in the 3rd league at home, first time in 1978 before promotion to the 2nd league where you established himself in midfield, before again in 1982 followed the descent. Also in the following years cemented his reputation as an elevator Ajka team that always hovered between second and third league.

Between 1987 and 1993 the club Ajka Hungalu SK said. The darkest chapter in their history followed by the name of Ajka LC when the club relegated from the 3rd Liga and only at county ( Megyei National Championship ) played. This period lasted until 1998, then followed the ascent up back in the second league that you had to leave in the meantime again. 2007 managed to return to the Nemzeti National Championship II

The stadium ( Sport utca 23) holds 5,000 spectators.
