FC Alliance Äischdall

The FC Alliance Aischdall Hobscheid - Eischen is a Luxembourgian football club from Hobscheid. The club plays its home games at the 2,120 -seat Stade " Koericherberg ", the home ground of previous association CS Hobscheid from.

History

Aischdall Alliance was founded on 30 March 2007 by the merger of CS Hobscheid and FC Olympique Eischen. By 2012, the club has always played in the 1st Division.

Predecessor clubs

CS Hobscheid

Cercle Sportif Hobscheid was founded in 1932. The club colors were yellow and black. From 1996 to 2002 CS Hobscheid played in the highest league and Luxembourg, in 1998, 2000 and 2001, the UEFA Intertoto Cup in part. There, the team failed each already in the first round. The greatest success in the national cup competition was reaching the semi-finals in the 2000 /01 season. At the end of last season as an independent club in 2006/ 07 CS Hobscheid occupied the 4th place in the third-class 1 division.

FC Olympique Eischen

Founded in 1917, were the biggest success in club history the promotion to the top league of Luxembourg, the National Division, 1980 and the achievement of the national cup final in 1981, but which has been lost 0:5 against Jeunesse Esch.

From 1980 to 1983 and from 1984 to 1989 belonged to Olympique Eischen of the National Division. At the time of the merger, the club played in the third-class 1 division.

Achievements

2010, the club was the first time before the rise in the honorary doctorate, but failed in the playoff with 3:4 on penalties to U.S. Hostert.

2012, Alliance Aischdall master of the 1st Division - 1st District and rose to the second highest league.
