FC Avangard Kursk

The FK Avangard Kursk (Russian Футбольный Клуб Авангард Курск, Futbolny club Avangard Kursk ) is a Russian football club from Kursk.

History

It was founded in 1958. After the collapse of the Soviet Union played the team from 1992 to 1993 in third-rate second league. 1994 the team played in the 3rd league, which was won in 1995. 2004 Avangard was runner-up in the 2nd Division and played from 2005 to 2007 and 2010 in the sub-prime 1st Division.

The home games denies the FK Avangard Kursk Trudowyje Reserwy Stadium. The stadium holds 11,329 spectators, has natural grass and floodlights.
