FC Bobruisk

Fandok Bobruisk (White Russian Фандок Бабруйск, Russian Фандок Бобруйск / Fandok Bobruisk ) is a former football club from the Belarusian city of Bobruisk. He played from 1992 to 1995 in the Wyschejschaja Liha, the top division of the country and was in 1994 in the final of the Belarusian Cup.

History

In the period of the Soviet Union until 1991 the club was known as tractor Bobruisk. After playing in 1991 in the Belarusian league within the Soviet Union, he belonged in the Belarusian independence in 1992 of the founding members Wyschejschaja Liha. There he appeared as Fandok to Bobruisk and finished in the first three seasons places in the upper middle. In the Belarusian Cup 1994 Fandok reached the final, which was lost to champions Dinamo Minsk 1:3.

As Cup finalist, the club took part in the qualifiers for the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1994/95. There, in the first leg against KF Tirana managed a 4-1 win, but the team lost the return match in Albania 0-3 and was eliminated on the away goals rule.

The League 1994/95 season ended Fankok number 11 and named himself then to FK in Bobruisk. In mid-season in the fall of 1995, the team was two points from 15 games chipped Table. After the missed relegation of the club in 1996 no longer appeared.
