FC Brunsviga 1896 Braunschweig

The FC Brunsviga was a short-lived football club from the early days of club football in Braunschweig.

History

Graduates of the Ducal Teachers' College founded in 1896 as FC Brunsviga second Braunschweiger football club after just one year existing football and cricket club Eintracht Braunschweig. The Brunsviga establishment fell into a phase that originated in the numerous clubs and small groups, who brought on the Leonhardsplatz an unorganized football game operation. Brunsviga, who soon left the framework of the seminar for teachers and other members recorded, performed well and could even defeat a few times concord. Many members then joined Eintracht Braunschweig, including the later Eintracht chairman Willi Steinhofgründe. The last game against Eintracht a 2:7 defeat is recorded in the Chronicle on 15 April 1900.
