FC Cartagena

The Fútbol Club Cartagena is a Spanish football club based in Cartagena in the Region of Murcia. The club was founded in 1995 and currently plays in the Segunda División B. home games wearing the club from the Estadio Cartagonova, which provides space for 14,532 spectators.

History

The club was founded in 1995 as Cartagonova Fútbol Club and played his first season in the territorial Preferente de la Región de Murcia, where direct promotion to the Tercera División succeeded. After his group was twice the Tercera División win, achieved in the 1997/98 season, the rise in the Segunda División B with a win in the relegation match against CD Tortosa.
