FC Caspiy

The FK Kaspij Aktau (Russian Футбольный клуб Каспий Актау ) is a Kazakh football club based in Aktau, who currently plays in the second highest league in Kazakhstan.

History

Name development

Founded in 1979 as Trud Shevchenko ( Труд Шевченко ), the team FK 1990 Aktau ( ФК Актау ) has been renamed. After three years the club in Munaischy Aktau ( Мунайши Актау ) was. In 2001 there was a re-naming in Mangystau Aktau ( Мангыстау Актау ). The present name the team since 2002.

Kazakh Cup

Currently the team plays in the second Kazakh league, the team had participated five seasons at the Kazakh Premjer league and had scored in the 1996 season with fourth place, the best result until now.

Stadium

Play their home games, the club from the Saddle Star stadium. The stadium can accommodate 3,500 spectators.
