FC Crotone

The FC Crotone is an Italian football club from the southern Italian city of Crotone.

It was founded in 1923 and plays in the colors red and blue. The club plays its home games at the Stadio Ezio Scida, which has 9,631 seats.

History

The beginnings

The first football club was formed in Crotone in 1923, he took the time at the regional championship of Division I in part (equivalent to today in about the series C). After the Second World War, U.S. Crotone Crotone and Milone came together and played together continues in the series C. From 1952/53, played the AS Crotone in the IV series, then followed by three seasons in the third division. In 1963 they rose in the D, but succeeded in the following year already the resurgence.
