FC Dacia Chișinău

FC Dacia Chişinău is a Moldovan football club based in the state capital of Chisinau. The association founded in 1999, plays in the Moldovan league, the Divizia Naţională. The club colors are yellow and blue.

History

Dacia 2002 rose up in the first Moldovan league and plays since then there. In the 2004/05 season the club finished third in the championship and reached for the first time the Moldovan Cup final, but lost FC Nistru Otaci 0:1. 2011 Dacia was first Moldovan champions. For international competitions, the club could yet qualify three times. In the UEFA Cup 2005/ 06 Dacia was defeated in the first qualifying round FC Vaduz 1:2 with the addition of the two games. 2003 and 2007, the club qualified for the UEFA Intertoto Cup, reaching the third round in each case failed in the Dacia at FC Schalke 04 and Hamburger SV at.

Stadium

The first home stadium Stadionul Republican took 10,500 spectators, but has since been demolished. Meanwhile, the club plays on the club grounds Zimbru Chisinau.
