FC Dinamo Brest

The FK Dinamo Brest (Russian Динамо Брест; belarusian Дынама Брэст ) is a Belarusian football club from the city, in the west of the county town of Brest.

History

Dinamo Brest played in the Soviet league system. After the collapse of the USSR the club was one of the founding members of the 1992 Wyschejschaja Liha, the top division of Belarus, which he served continuously until today. In the first season, 1992, the team's third behind champions FK Dinamo Minsk and Mogilev was Dnjapro. In the following years slots were used in the secure midfield just yet.

The greatest success of the club's history succeeded on 27 May 2007, when Dinamo Brest faced in the cup final BATE Borisov and after goalless game time by a 4:3 after penalties won the competition.

2012, the club was renamed to FK Brest, before he was only a year later renamed back to FK Dinamo Brest.
