FC Emmendingen

The FC Emmen things 03 is a football club with about 600 members from the Baden Emmen things.

History

The club was founded in 1903 as FV Emmen things. 1956 merged the FV Emmendingen with the SV Founded in 1921, Emmen things to FC Emmen things 03

From 1964 to 1965, the club played one season in the then second-rate Regionalliga Süd. With the appalling record of just one win and two draws in 33 defeats and one goal balance of 31:158 the team got off, impossible to block. The only victory was not until the penultimate round 1-0 at Mitabsteiger TSG Ulm 1846. Highest defeats conceded the club directly behind the other on Matchday 34 away SSV Reutlingen 05 and on the 35th Gameday at home against the later promoted FC Bayern Munich 0:10 each gates.

After thirteen years in the first amateur league Südbaden the club in 1978 failed to qualify for the newly formed Amateur Oberliga Baden -Württemberg and was placed in the then fourth-rate federation League South Baden. After the temporary descent into the Fünftklassigkeit came in 1989 promotion to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg. The descent followed, however, after only one season.

Only in 2005 the first team returned to the Oberliga Baden -Württemberg, but increased at the end of the 2006/2007 season again.

In the 2008 /09 season of FCE dismounted as Table from the fifth division scheme, so that the team had to play again in the siebtklassigen country league in the season 2009/10. Second place in the 2010/11 season was achieved and the associated rise of games. After a 1-0 home win against VfB Gaggenau and a 2-2 draw at the SG - Dettingen Dingelsdorf FCE rose to the Association League South Baden. 2012 it rose again into the national league.
