FC Nordstern Basel

It was founded on 21 March 1901. 1903 was admitted to the Swiss Football Association.

1908 FC North Star Series B master of central Switzerland. 1910 Young Fellows Basel were connected. 1924, the year of the inauguration of the stadium, the Rankhofs, the first team secured under coach Izidor " Dori " furrier the rise and the juniors the title of Master of central Switzerland. 1935 for the first time the association succeeded in gaining in the Cup final. However, this lost Basler 0:10 against Lausanne. Another time was the club in the Cup final in 1939, but he also lost the game against Lausanne (0:2).

1923, 1927 and 1928 was the FC North Star runner-up in Switzerland.

12 players of FC North Star played over the years for the Swiss national team. In the North Star FC stadium 13 international matches were played.

From 1966 to 1968 played and coached the later " globetrotter " Otto Pfister at FC North Star.

From its foundation until today the North Star FC has played for a total of 35 seasons in the respective highest Swiss football league. (1911-1943, 1978/79 and 1980 to 1982 )

The North Star FC Basel is currently on the 20th place of the eternal table of the Super League.
