FC Pasching

The Traun FC is an Austrian football club based in the Upper Austrian town of Traun. He was re-established after the move of the ASKO Traun, who appeared most recently as FC Superfund, to Carinthia and the resulting renamed SK Austria Kärnten in 2007 as FC Superfund Pasching. The club currently plays in the regional center. 2013 won the Paschinger the first third division the Austrian Football Cup.

History

The club started as a gaming community with Wallern in the 2007/ 08 season in the fifth highest Austrian playing level. After the immediate championship title and the associated rise in the fourth division, the Upper Austrian league started, Wallern, as agreed, new in the lowest league and the association of these relegation was financially compensated.

The FC Pasching increased after re immediate championship 2008/ 09 in Upper Austria League in the third highest playing level, the Regional middle.

In the 2009/10 season FC Traun had by far the highest average age of the entire Regional Center with 27.5 years. So were eleven players in the squad who had already crossed the age of 30 during this season. Of these, in turn two (Josef Schicklgruber and Eduard members ) already over 40 years old.

After the first round of the 2009/10 season Traun was four points behind the league leaders WAC / St. Andrae on the second place. The association was, however, announced its intention to apply for a license for the First League. After the previous club ASKOE Traun was resettled in Carinthia, the Bundesliga had a scheme in which a club promotion to the First League forbidden, unless he has played at least three years in a league that is discharged from its national association. Since the FC Traun had previously only ever played one year in the first and second highest in Upper Austria playing level, the club did not meet this condition.

Sporty Traun reached the championship title in the Regionalliga in 2010; due to the omission of a license application for the First League club but the 13 points were deducted. After the season, the Board of Directors resigned; a new board had to be chosen.

Since the end of the 2010/11 season Superfund got out as the main sponsor and could not be adequately replaced, the club was forced to massively emphasize the budget for the next season together. Consequently, almost all of the senior squad has been replaced with a new one, which consisted mainly of amateur players. At the end of the fall season Traun was in last place. In early 2012 a cooperation with the FC Red Bull Salzburg has been received. First result of this collaboration was the takeover of the coach office by Gerald Baumgartner, the former coach of the second team of Salzburg. The club managed to avoid relegation thanks to a 8-0 thrashing of victory on the final day against the fixed already as Master Grazer AK.

Cup Winner 2012/13

In the 2012/13 season Traun was to get back at the other end of the table. The team won the championship for autumn and wintered with four points ahead of the LASK. This projection, however, was playful in the spring and Traun finished the season two points behind in second place for inhabitants.

In the Austrian Football Cup 2012/13 the Paschi glad succeeded the biggest sensation in the history of this petition. After Klagenfurt were eliminated in the first three rounds Austria Salzburg, Austria Lustenau and Austria, waited in the last three rounds of the elite of Austrian football on the regional league. In the quarterfinals, Traun away Rapid Wien defeated 1-0. In the semifinals, the success of Paschinger went away with partner Red Bull Salzburg further than the Baumgartner- elf could turn a 0-1 into a 2-1 victory. With FC Pasching thus stood for the first time in the OFB Cup history, a third division side in the final. Opponents at Vienna's Ernst Happel Stadium was Austria Wien, the current champion of the Bundesliga. The Paschinger finally managed the very great sensation and decided the final as well. Daniel Sobkova scored shortly after page change the 1-0 lead that could be defended in the sequence. Thus, the FC Traun has the master, the runner-up and third-placed Bundesliga season 2012/13 defeated without ever having had the home advantage.
