FC Puuma Tallinn

The FC Puuma Tallinn, in short: FC Puuma in Estonian Jalgpalliklubi Puuma, is an Estonian football club based in Tallinn, which was founded in 1981, and the 2011 in the Esiliiga, the second highest Estonian league, plays.

History

The FC Puuma Tallinn was founded in October 1981 as a school team in Tallinn by the Uzbek football player Aleksandr Pak and the teachers Bright Mäesepp. In March 1984, the words " Puuma " came (Estonian for Puma ) to do so. The first coach was Aleksandr Pak, who was in office after the founding six years. Since 1992, the Russian Vitaly Kobashov is club president, who already held the job for the team.

In 2005, the club was relegated to the second division, but did not see any perspective in the development of the players who were part of the team at a young age. The FC Puuma is prepared for clubs from the Meistriliiga and the Estonian national football team, a pure training club of young people, and formed in a football academy.

Every year during the summer months takes the FC Puuma with the youth teams in international tournaments, including in Gothenburg, Barcelona on the Costa Blanca in Vassa and Turku and Prešov. Financial support is provided by the Estonian economy by sponsors such as McDonald's and Tallink, since 2002 by the Estonian Football Association.

In 2011, the club will participate in the Esiliiga 2011 after Puuma Tallinn had risen as the first table II Liiga. On the first day of the 2011 season the team won 7-3 away to FC Valga Warrior.
