FC Spandau 06
The FC Spandau 06 is a German football club based in Berlin, playing in the 2011/2012 season in the national league. Play their home games, the club on the sports field Ziegelhofstraße which caters for 3,000 spectators.
History
The FC Spandau 06 was founded on June 6, 1906 as SC Britannia 06 Spandau. After 1911, the newly founded club Konkordia Spandau had joined, was in 1919 a merger with Borussia 1916 Spandau. 1921 merger with SC Hertha Spandau and new club name: Spandau BC 06
In sporting terms, the SBC failed in 1933 in the qualifying matches for Gauliga Berlin -Brandenburg on 1 FC Guben and police SV Berlin and played until the war ended only second-rate. After 1945, the association was dissolved and re-established as SG Spandau Wilhelm city. 1949 returned to Berlin back to the historical name Spandau BC 06. The Spandau BC to 1991 played almost exclusively in the Amateur League in Berlin and a Oberliga Berlin to participate in the existing Regional Berlin until 1974 the club was not successful.
In 1991, the SBC was incorporated into the newly created Oberliga Nordost. The third highest German league held Spandau only two seasons and increased in 1993 with the Frankfurter FC Viktoria and Motor Eberswalde in the fifth division from Berlin. On 1 July 2003 merged the Spandau BC 06 with the first FC to FC Spandau Spandau 06 After two interim downs in the years 1998 and 2001 in the national league acted FC Spandau 06-2011 in the sechstklassigen Berlin- League. However, as Table Sixteenth the team went into the 2010/11 season from in the national league. 2013 had to compete even in the aisle in the district league club.
