FC Vihren Sandanski

The PFC Vihren Sandanski ( bulgarisch.: Вихрен Сандански ) is a Bulgarian football club from Sandanski. The club plays in the second division of Bulgaria, the B Grupa. The club colors are green and white.

General

The club was founded on 24 May 1925. Previously, the club had the following names: Ustrem, Gotse Delchev, Yane Sandanski and Cherveno zname. Since the 2005/06 season the club played in the highest Bulgarian division of A Grupa. In the 2008 /09 season of re- descent followed. The home ground of the association is the Gradski Sandanski to dt: Stadium Sandanski. The stadium holds 6,000 people. The current main sponsor is the water company Thorn Spring, outfitter is the textile manufacturer Nike.
