Febo

Febo is a fast food chain in the Netherlands. The founder once started with bread and confectionery.

History

In 1941 Johan founded Izaäk de Borst ( 1919-2008 ), Maison Febo. What started as a bakery, made ​​croquettes developed into a business with vending machines ( "Automata Restaurants " ) for sale itself. De Borst had built modern kitchens, in order to increase the production of croquettes. As a result, he was able to establish branches nationwide via Amsterdam also. Trivia

The name is derived from the Febo Ferdinand Bolstraat in the district of Amsterdam de Pijp, where De Borst learned his bakery trade. The Febo in the Ferdinand Bolstraat came only in the 1990s to do so.
