Fedaia Lake

The Fedaia reservoir ( Ita Lago Fedaia, Lad Lech de Fedaa ) is a two-piece artificial lake at the pass of Fedaiapasses in the Dolomites at the foot of the Marmolada.

Peculiarities

The lake consists of two parts, the natural part is about 160 m long and is jammed by debris deposits. The artificial part is 2 km long and is dammed by a 60 m high dam. The dam was built in the 1950s. The accumulated water feeding an electricity plant, which was to power in 1956.
