Federal administration of Switzerland

The federal administration (French Administration fédérale, Italian federale Amministrazione, Romansh Administraziun federala ), together with the Federal Council, the executive of Switzerland Represent comprises the departments, the Federal Chancellery and the decentralized administrative units ( nearly 90 offices) and is subject to the Federal Council. Each member of the Federal Council is a department before ( Department of principle) and bears the political responsibility for this. The Federal employs approximately 37,000 people.
