Federal Expellee Law

The Federal Law on Displaced Persons ( BVFG ), in the Long Title Act on the affairs of displaced persons and refugees in Germany regulates the state's supply of displaced persons and refugees.

The first version of the law of 19 May 1953 it was announced on 22 May 1953 at the Federal Law Gazette.

Entitled to benefits

Entitlement to benefits have displaced persons, expellees, refugees and repatriates Soviet zone and their survivors.

Construction

The federal law is divided into eight sections.

  • First section (§ § 1-6 ): General Provisions
  • Second Section (§ § 7-20 ): distribution, rights and benefits
  • Third Section (§ § 21 to 25): Authorities and Councils
  • Fourth Section (§ § 26-29, § § 30-93 are repealed): Recording
  • Fifth Section (§ § 94-95 ): name management, consulting
  • Sixth Section (§ § 96-97 ): Culture, Research and Statistics
  • Section Seven (§ § 98 to 99 ): Penal
  • Aft section (§ § 100-104, § § 105 to 107 are deleted): Transitional and final provisions
