Federal National Council

The Federal National Council (Arabic: al - Majlis المجلس الوطني الإتحادي al - watani al - ittihadi, DMG al - Watani al - maǧlis al - ittiḥādī ) is the unicameral Parliament of the United Arab Emirates.

40 members are elected in the parliament. Eight of the members each come from the emirates of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, six each derived from Sharjah and Ras al -Khaimah, and four each from Ajman, Umm al - Qaiwain and Fujairah.

The Parliament has advisory functions as a legislative tasks. The right to vote, not all citizens of the state.
