Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media

The Federal Service for Supervision in the field of communications, information technology and mass communication (Russian Федеральная служба по надзору в сфере связи, информационных технологий и массовых коммуникаций, short Роскомнадзор / Roskomnadzor ) is the Russian regulator for mass media, telecommunications and Privacy Policy.

The Authority was established in 2008. They approved and supervised mass media and can be also block Internet sites in Russia.
