Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare

The Federal Service for Supervision in the field of consumer protection and protection of human welfare (Russian Федеральная служба по надзору в сфере защиты прав потребителей и благополучия человека, short Роспотребнадзор / Rospotrebnadzor ) is the Russian Inspectorate for Consumer Protection and Health.

The Authority was established in 2004. She was under the Ministry of Health until 2012 and since then directly to the government of the Russian Federation. Rospotrebnadzor has nationwide workforce of about 110,000.
