The Universidade Federal do Pará (abbreviated UFPA, in German: Federal University of Pará ) is one of the three federal universities in the state of Pará, Brazil. It was founded July 2, 1957, the main campus is located in Belém. The UFPA has additional ten campuses in the cities: Abaetetuba, Altamira, Bragança, Breves, Cametá, Capanema, Castanhal, Marabá, Soure and Tucuruí.

At the UFPA 2011 over 40,000 students were enrolled. Rector Carlos Edilson de Almeida Maneschy.

Focus of research at the UFPA are areas such as genetics, earth science and neuroscience.
