Federico Macheda (born 22 August 1991, Rome) is an Italian football player.

Career

Association

He began with seven years at AS Atletico Prenestino with football play on. He went with ten years in the youth department of Lazio, where he played six years. At the age of 16 years, the English club Manchester United secured the services of striker talent, which was housed in the youth academy of the club. In the youth teams of Manchester United is Macheda won the day and was called quickly to the squad of the reserve team. In August 2008, the attacker signed his first professional contract and then became part of the squad for the first team. On April 5, 2009, he came to his debut in the first team of Manchester. In the match against Aston Villa manager Alex Ferguson moved him a half an hour before closing for Nani. Macheda then scored his first goal for Manchester a 3-2 victory. Federico Macheda on loan for the second half of the 2010/11 season in his home country to Sampdoria. There, however, a regular place he never had. He returned to Manchester United at the end of the season.

On January 24, 2013 Federico Macheda first moved to the end of the season on loan to VfB Stuttgart. The Stuttgart company was verbally promised a call option, which was written down in February. However, Macheda was adopted after 14 league appearances for VfB in the second half of 2012/13 in the last home game of the season.

On September 16, 2013 Macheda was loaned for one month at the Doncaster Rovers. After five operations in the second-rate Football League Championship, where he scored three goals, he returned in October to Manchester. After an injury Macheda end of November 2013 were again awarded by the end of the Doncaster Rovers.

National

Macheda was National Player of the U -21 Italy, for which he completed seven internationals. Previously, he had already played several times for the U-16, U -17 and U-19 selection in his home country.
