Feg Murray

Frederic Seymour ( " Feg " ) Murray ( born May 15, 1894 in San Francisco, California, † 16 July 1973 in Carmel -by-the -Sea, California ) was an American track and field athlete.

Career

Murray 1915 U.S. champion in the 110 meter hurdles and 200 - meter hurdles. Over the longer distance, he defended his title the following year successfully. In the finals of the 110- meter hurdles race of the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 Murray won the bronze medal in 15.2 seconds behind the Canadian Earl Thomson, who was in a world record time of 14.8 seconds Olympic champion, as well as his compatriot Harold Barron in 15.0 seconds.
