Felician of Foligno

Felician of Foligno (* 160 in Foligno, † January 24 249 ibid ) was bishop of Foligno ( 193-249 ) and martyr. He is regarded as an apostle of Umbria.

Felician is revered as a saint of the city of Foligno, where he was, according to tradition for 56 years Bishop and 94 -year-old suffered martyrdom under the Emperor Decius. There takes place annually on 24 January, a solemn procession in his honor instead.
