Feliks Falk

Feliks Falk ( born February 25, 1941 in Stanisławów, Soviet Union) is a Polish film director, theater and screenwriter.

Feliks Falk came upon the visual arts to film. He graduated in 1966, a painting studies at the Art Academy in Warsaw. In 1967 he presented his first one-act play before titled elevator and decided to continue studying. In 1973, he joined the directing studies at the Film School in Łódź. Already during his studies he made some remarkable short films. Falk made ​​his first feature film in 1975 and wrote the beginning of his career his scripts with filmmakers as Agnieszka Holland and Jerzy Domaradzki. Feliks Falk was awarded at national and international festivals. In addition to his feature films he also shot documentaries. For his last film to date Komornik ( Bailiffs ) he received the grand prize at the Polish Film Festival Gdynia and the Polish Film Award. In 2011 he became an officer of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
