Felipa Palacios

Felipa Palacios Hinestroza Alicia ( born December 1, 1975 in Bojayá, Chocó ) is a Colombian track and field athlete, who participated in three Olympic Games.

Felipa Palacios won in the Pan American Games in 1995 with two squadrons the bronze medal. With the 4 x 100 - meter relay, she reached the final of the World Championships, where the Colombian occupied seventh place in 44.61 seconds in the same year.

Palacios won the 1999 at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg in 23.05 seconds, the bronze medal in the 200 -meter run behind Debbie Ferguson of the Bahamas and the Brazilian Lucimar de Moura. After Palacios was excreted in her Olympic was launched in 1996 with both the relay and the 200 meters in the flow, she reached the semi-finals in Sydney in 2000, respectively. Four years later she retired at the 2004 Olympics with the squadron in the flow.

Palacios, Obregón and González were four years later also the relay that finished eighth in 43.43 seconds at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin.

Felipa Palacios was 1997 Colombian national champion in the 100 meters and 200 meters. On the longer distance they could win two more titles in 1999 and 2000, over 100 meters in 2006, she won her second title. At a height of 1.65 meters, her competition weight is 56 kilograms.
