Felipe Boero
Felipe Boero ( born May 1, 1884 in Buenos Aires; † August 9, 1958 ) was an Argentine composer.
Boero studied in Buenos Aires with Arturo Berutti and from 1912 to 1914 in Paris under Gabriel Fauré and Paul Vidal. He then lived as a celebrated opera composer in Buenos Aires and is considered the founder of the national- Argentine opera.
In addition to six operas he composed symphonic poems, an oratorio, a fair and songs.
