Felipe Olivares

Felipe Olivares (* February 5, 1905, † unknown), also known by the nickname La Marrana (Spanish about the struggle for pig) was a Mexican football player.

Life

" La Marrana " Olivares already played in 1924 for the club Atlante and belonged in the same year to a group that broke away from the club and became self-employed. However, the new project did not have long life, because even after a year the team fell apart and most apostates returned to the club Atlante. A lucky few ( among them Olivares ) refused to return and instead joined a club called Sedanita to. No later than 1928, however, Olivares played again for the Potros and won them the championship title of the season 1931/32.

He also was a member of the Mexican national football team, and took her part in the first World Cup in 1930. There he came in the game against Argentina used.
