Felisberto Hernández

Felisberto Hernández (born 20 October 1902 in Montevideo, † January 13, 1964 ibid ) was an Uruguayan fantasy writer.

Life

Hernandez learned autodikatisch the piano and worked as accompanist for silent films, and as a bar pianist. He practiced for a short time a bookstore in a garage, spent the years 1946-1948 in Paris and then returned to Uruguay.

His first short story collection Fulano de tal appeared in 1925, others followed.
