Felix Haug

Felix Haug ( born March 27, 1952 † 1 May 2004 Uster) was a Swiss Pop.

Life

Haug first played from 1977 to 1979 in Lipschitz Orchestra and participated in 1979 in the production of their debut album Solid Pleasure by Yello. In the 70 years he was on the road as a drummer in Europe, the USA and the Far East.

In 1980 he founded with his friend Kurt Maloo the jazz trio Ping Pong. Later, the two broke from the group and formed the duo Double. In 1985, she landed the single The Captain of Her Heart an international hit. He sold worldwide 1.5 million times and even reached number 16 in the U.S. on the Billboard charts. The song is considered one of the most successful Swiss productions of all time. 1989 Double disbanded. Last Haug worked as chief editor at TV magazine TR7, but he continued to write songs, music for commercials and various TV movies set to music.

Haug died on 1 May 2004 at the age of 52 of a heart attack.
