Felix Van Groeningen

Life

Felix Van Groeningen studied Visual Arts at the Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten ( KASK ) in Ghent. After graduating in 2000, he directed some short films and was also active as an actor and writer in theater.

In 2004, he presented with Steve Sky before his feature film debut. His international breakthrough came in 2009 with The Beschissen of things, which at the Cannes Film Festival premiered and was released in theaters in Germany.
