Fellagha

The term Fellagha (Arabic فلاقة Fellāqa, robbers ' majority Fellāq / فلاق ) refers to the Arab fighters against French rule in Algeria and Tunisia in the 1950s.

The word migrated from Arabic as Fellouze in French. In the struggle for independence, it learned in Tunisia and Algeria a positive change in meaning and referred to as it as an honorary title, the freedom fighters of that time.
