Fellhornbahn over the Gundsattel

The coat horn is a 2038 meters ( according to the Austrian survey. A. 2039 m above sea ) high mountain in the Allgäu Alps near Oberstdorf. It is located on the German -Austrian border and separates the Kleinwalsertal from Stillachtal. The coat horn is one of the flowers mountains of the Allgäu Alps and is known for its large Alpenrose fields.

Development

Since 1972 performs a cable car station which Fellhornbahn, from Stillachtal on the mountain. The mountain station is at 1967 m altitude. There is a lift for composite Kanzelwandbahn. The cross-border ski Fellhornbahn / pulpit wall has a total of 24 kilometers of slopes and 14 ski lifts.
