FEM (TV channel)

FEM (short for feminine and Norwegian for five) is a Norwegian TV station went on the air on 3 September 2007. The program range of the transmitter is aimed at a female audience and includes soap operas, movies, talk shows and documentaries. The broadcasting is done from the UK. In addition to FEM operates the Discovery Communications in Norway nor the transmitter TVNorge, MAX and The Voice TV.

In November 2009, the ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG announced plans to start FEM.TV in Germany under the name sixx. First broadcast on May 7, 2010. Early April 2013 Discovery Communications, the former SBS channels, including FEM heard definitive takeover of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG.
