Femoral triangle
As a leg triangle (Latin femoral triangle, Scarpa triangle after Antonio Scarpa ) refers to a triangular area on the inner side of the thigh just below the groin. In the leg triangle run directly under the skin and fascia lata:
- Femoral artery and the proximal Disposals
- Femoral vein
- Femoral nerve
- Saphenous nerve
The boundaries of the femoral triangle are human:
- Cranial: inguinal ligament ( inguinal ligament )
- Lateral: sartorius muscle
- Medial: musculus adductor longus
- Dorsal ( bottom ): musculus musculus iliopsoas and pectineus
In the four-footed mammals it is bounded by:
- Above: inguinal ligament ( inguinal ligament )
- Cranial: sartorius muscle
- Caudal: musculus pectineus
From the triangle leg, the leg gap continues as neurovascular road.
