Fendry Ekel

Fendry disgust ( * 1971 in Jakarta, Indonesia) is a Dutch painter. Disgust lives in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Life

Disgust came as a teenager in the early 1980s from Indonesia to the Netherlands. He studied in Amsterdam at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and from 1998 to 2000 to the " Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten " in Amsterdam. In 1999 he was artist in residence in Cittadellarte, Fondazione Pistoletto in Biella.

Work

Disgust preferably in his brightly colored images Mischtenchniken as gouache, acrylic and oil paint. Templates his often monumental works are black and white photographs of architecture or historical events. Disgust pictures were exhibited in galleries in the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Spain, Mexico, Australia and the United States.
