Ferdinand Kiefler

Ferdinand Kiefler (* August 4, 1913 in Vienna, † 13 January 1945 Liblar near Cologne) was an Austrian handball player.

Life

Kiefler was a member of the austrian team at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin. With his team he took the field handball the silver medal, after they had previously won against Romania, Switzerland and Hungary. Austria lost the final with Germany 10: 6 Kiefler died in 1945 during fighting in Erftstadt- Liblar near Cologne.
