Ferdinand Martini

Ferdinand Martini ( born September 1, 1870 in Munich, † December 23, 1930 in Berlin) was a German actor.

Life

Martini became his first engagement in 1890 Reichenhall. In the course of his theatrical career, he was among others in Bremen, Prague, Nuremberg, Vienna and Munich on the stage. He was particularly effective in pieces by Ludwig Anzengruber and Ferdinand Raimund.

After the First World War Martini was a busy silent film actor, who has worked as a supporting actor in numerous films. He died during the filming of his second and final sound film Your Highness commands. His son Otto Martini (1902-1979) was a cameraman. His son, his grandson. Ronald Martini ( b. 1928 ) also presented documentary, research and industrial films ago.
